baby girl went for the sports school trial yesterday. she did fairly well, till all her friends from the sports school came back from training and stood behind her lane. literally, all of them. so dear friends of the sss, please be nice, i'm sure all of you know what it's like to play under tremendous pressure. if you would like to support her, might i suggest standing in other lanes? haha.
well anyway, everyone in her group got into the next round. which i reckon, the 2nd and 3rd round might possibly cut them down by a lot, since most of them don't look as though they have proper training. the 2nd and 3rd round is attachment to the sss training sessions. and the 4th round is a gym/running session. which my dear baby girl certainly puts you at an advantage, since ou have seen them train before, and have some form of training with ak.
however, as mike lam said, the selection criteria for you is slightly different, since you're a grade above the rest. they not only have to decide whether to accept you, but also, whether to drop you a grade. so they're more stringent with the sec1s.
baby girl, that's the reason mum is worried abt you. you have the talents, but you must also admit that you're not as good as your ss friends, and your grades are horrribleeee. listen to her when she teaches you to answer questions. and when they do, even if you have to lie to them, do it. whatever you say, make them believe that this is what you want, all you want, and there's no where else out there for you.
there's only so much we can do for you. clearly, mum has given you her best, she has sent you for personal training, for school training, for club training. she has been driving you and your balls all around singapore. speaking of high maintaince, all those money spent on your 2/3 balls a year, coaching, games, is a lot on mum.
now, it's all up to you. put some faith in yourself, and in god. it's certainly not by chance, that mum came across the application for the intake on the closing day itself. and god wants to give you only the best. he has given you good talents, so you too must give back only your best.
if this is what you want, ask god for it. BELIEVE in what you ask, because he answers prayers, you must believe he does. in the end, whether this door opens for you or not, know that it's god's will for you. and he'll only want what's good for you.
