This story is about a little wave, bobbing along the ocean, having a grand old time. He's enjoying the wind and the fresh air until-he notices other waves in fornt of him, crashing against the shore.

'My God, this is terrible,'
the wave says. 'Look what's going to happen to me!'

Then along comes another wave. It sees the first wave looking grim, and it says to him, 'Why do you look so sad?'

The first wave says, 'You don't understand, we're all going to crash! All of us are going to be nothing! Isn't it terrible?'

The second wave says, 'No, you don't understand. You are not a wave, you're part of the ocean.'

It is time to say good-bye to friends and teachers. It is a scary thought of us graduating. There were some scared people and others were just happy to be getting out of school. The hardest thing to do was to say good-bye to our friends. Time flew as we were Seniors, no one who of know how fast it would of gone so fast. Good Luck to everyone in what ever you do. why do all good things have to come to an end? i could feel the melancholy, all the hugs and tears. is this really good bye?

this is for all the seniors of 2004.

Past, Present, and Future

As we all look back and remember,
The times that are now our past,
Standing here in the present,
Together we know that these
memories will always last.

We have come so far together,
But have also come far as one,
And as the night of graduation ends
We will soon realize that our futures
have just begun,

Here we'll stand at the end,
yet the beginning of our future,
And out of all that we have come tolearn,
Friendship is the most valuable nuture.

The memories of our friends,
our classrooms and our peers,
Could never be washed away with even the saddest cry of tears,
Our memories will always be with us
As well as we'll never forget that our past,
present, and our future after all began right here.

hah! it's simply amusing watching cel and clar being chased around by the dog. ruffles agressive nature is absolutely scary. clar and cel were trembling with fear at the her vicious growls. watching their little game of tug a war and hide and seek, just to put her back in her dorm. she even bit both of them. cel's hand is bleeding now =/ DOGS ARE HASSLE! and so are the owners

we sang this song at church today. and it really touched me.

HEART OF WORSHIP

when the music fades, all is stripped away
And i simply come.
Longing just to bring something that's of worth
That will bless your heart.

I'll bring you more than a song,
for a song in itself is not what you have required.
You search much depper within,
Through the way things appear,
You're looking into my heart.

I'm coming back to the heart of worship
And it's all about you, all about you, jesus.
I'm sorry lord for the things i made it.
When it's all about you, all about you, jesus.

King of endless worth, no one could express,
How much you deserve.
And through all these years, all I have is yours,
Every single breath.

don't we all just do things for the sake of doing so, without even questioning why? going to church every sunday, has just became another regular routine. but are we really there to worship god? yes, we put it on our tounges that we are here to worship him. but god really does search much deeper within us. i'm sorry father, for the times and things i've made. forgetting, that you are the real reason i go to church for.

Smiling is infectious,
you catch it like the flu,
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling, too.

I passed around the corner,
and someone saw my grin,
When he smiled I realized,
I'd passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile,
then I realized its worth,
A single smile just like mine,
could travel round the earth.

So if you feel a smile begin,
don't leave it undetected-
Let's start an epidemic:
quick and get the world infected!

cheryl. :) smilin' away

just so that you know that i'm alive. here's something good that i read.
Another one! I thought you might enjoy this story, especially when you get to the punch line.
Subject: Does Evil exist? This was too good not to pass on .....

Does evil exist? The university professor challenged his students with this question. "Did God create everything that exists?" A student bravely replied, "Yes, he did!" "God created everything?", the professor asked. "Yes sir", the student replied.

The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are then God is evil". The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor was quite pleased with him self and boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.

Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question professor?" "Of course", replied the professor.

The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?" "What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The students snickered at the young man's question. The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-460 degrees F) is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat."

The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?" The professor responded, "Of course it does." The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact we can use Newton's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present.

Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present." Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?" Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said. We see it every day. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil."

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or love that exist just as does light and heat. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."

The professor sat down.

The young man's name.........

Albert Einstein

good luck for the onslaught of o's coming your way :)
